The school building, located at the junction of Fanling and Sheung Shui, was completed. |

The school opened with P.1-4 classes and operated as a bi-sessional school. It was initially named as Tung Wah Group of Hospitals New Territories Sixth School. |
21 February 1990 |
The school was officially named as Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Hong Kong and Kowloon Electrical Appliances Merchants Association Primary School (EAMA). |
1995-1996 |
EAMA joined the School Improvement Programme of the government, which involved construction of an annex to the old school building and nine special rooms. Our quality of education was enhanced with the additional spaces and facilities for teaching and out-of-class activities. |
1 February 2006 |
The Incorporated Management Committee (IMC) was set up to manage the school. |
2009-2010 |
EAMA started whole-day schooling and implementing small class teaching at primary 1. Our students have benefited from longer lesson hours, a richer curriculum and better care of the teachers. |
The 2000s |
In the early 2000s, EAMA established the IT Learning Centre and Multimedia Teaching Room with a grant of about $1 million from the Quality Education Fund (QEF). In 2011, EAMA set up the Long-distance Teaching Room with another QEF grant of $70,000. |

30th Anniversary of EAMA |

EAMA was awarded two QEF grants, funding the curricular projects on positive education and STEM (aquaponics and computational thinking). |
